25 Books for Personal Growth

I'm asked from time to time what books I would recommend for personal spiritual growth. I am an avid reader. So, it's really hard for me to develop a list.

I honestly feel disloyal to books (they are my friends, after all) that I leave off any list. So, to the books in my personal library that didn't make the cut, I still love (and like!) you.

For now, below is my current top 25 list. Tomorrow, I might scratch something off this list so I can add another! Some authors are current leaders. Other writers are dead, yet still speak!

If you are looking for good suggestions from a solid reading list, I think you would benefit greatly from reading books from this one.

I tried to include books from several differing genres that have been influential in my spiritual formation.
